Polly the Popper now in residence at Cinema Central

Cinema Central has chosen ATB Cinema Concessions to supply them with a Cretors popcorn machine, for their Peterborough based community cinema.

Louise Hill Head of Community Arts and Extended Schools, said “Cinema Central has proved to be a big hit with the local community and we felt we needed a popcorn machine to complete the cinema experience for our audience”.

“ATB delivered the machine in person and gave us training on operation and cleaning, which meant we felt confident to get up and running straight away - in fact we used the popcorn machine that night! “

Louise chose Cretors entry level 4 ounce popper, capable of producing over 2.2kgs of popped corn per hour, perfect for their needs. To create a focal point and give ease of mobility the film club also bought a matching two wheel cart.

To complete their purchase ATB provided easy pop packs which consist of corn, sugar, oil and bags, around a 100 servings, providing everything they need to pop the perfect corn.

Louise said, “We’ve been delighted with how popular the popper has proved to be and as a mark of our affection have named it Polly the popcorn machine”
